Eduardo Quintero prospect report (Dodgers)

A 19-year-old outfielder signed out of Venezuela in 2023, Quintero is quickly establishing himself as one of the Dodgers’ most electric young prospects. Ranked No. 12 in the organization entering the 2025 season, Quintero has showcased an impressive blend of power, speed, and baseball instincts as a teenager. Through 50 games at Single-A Rancho Cucamonga, the right-handed hitter is slashing .318/.421/.592 with 11 home runs, 12 doubles, and five triples, good for a 1.013 OPS. He’s also displayed an encouraging mix of plate discipline and aggression, drawing walks at a 14% clip while striking out at a reasonable 24% rate.

Listed at 6-foot-1 and 175 pounds, Quintero’s athletic frame and quick, explosive hands generate plus power to all fields. His ability to impact the game with both his bat and legs is evident, as he’s swiped 28 bases in 36 attempts so far this season. Defensively, he moves well in the outfield and provides sufficient range and arm strength at all three spots, projecting best in a corner position. While still refining his all-around game, Quintero’s undeniable tools and in-game production give him the upside of a dynamic, run-producing outfielder with plus power-speed potential. He’s yet another name to watch within the Dodgers’ deep and talented farm system.
