Signed by the Dodgers out of Taiwan in 2024, the 19-year-old outfielder has quickly emerged as a player to watch in Los Angeles’ deep farm system. Making his full-season debut at Single-A Rancho Cucamonga in 2025, the 6-foot-3, 215-pound left-handed hitter brings an imposing physical frame and intriguing offensive tools along with an advanced feel for the game.
Though his early production has been modest, five extra-base hits and zero home runs through his first 28 games, the raw talent is evident. He’s already demonstrated the ability to drive the ball to all fields with authority and pairs that with a disciplined approach and keen strike zone awareness. Ko’s relatively flat swing plane leaves room for added lift and leverage, which should help unlock the above-average power potential his strong build suggests.
Ko is a good athlete and moves well for his size, flashing solid instincts both on the bases and in the outfield. While there’s plenty of room for development, his combination of raw physicality, refined offensive tools, and keen baseball IQ gives him a chance to develop into an everyday run-producing corner outfielder with All-Star potential.
